Join the Sherman Chamber Ensemble for a special concert celebrating the genius of Franz Schubert. He is considered to be the last grandmaster of the Viennese Classical school of music, as well as one of the earliest proponents of Romanticism. Schubert is counted among the most gifted composers of the 19th century, having written 1,000 pieces of music, even though he only lived to the age of 31.Performance includes "

Death and the Maiden Quartet, No. 14 in D Minor" and the beautiful "Arpeggione Sonata" arranged for flute and strings.

Featuring Susan Rotholz on flute, Doori Na and Jane Chung on violin, Sarah Adams on viola, and Eliot Bailen on cello.
