Join us at the Sherman Library for A Drum Circle with Jack’s Waterfall on Saturday, September 21st at 3:30p.m. A great introduction to the world of drumming!
This upbeat and inclusive circle will be great for beginners and advanced practitioners as they learn traditional and modern rhythms and how they are woven together. This circle will have a musical twist with some guest musicians to spice up the gumbo. Drums will be provided or bring your own. This is an adult program, a children’s drum program will be offered earlier in the day on September 21st.
Jack's Waterfall is the musical adventure of Jack Licitra. Jack will be joined by Grammy nominated producer Mark Carpentieri of MC Records. Jack has been facilitating drum circles at
libraries, Senior Centers, Retreats, Hospitals and more for the last 20 years. He has received awards by the Long Island Music Hall of Fame and Stonybrook University. His current release "Call Dr. John" is currently on national blues radio chart as well as Australian Roots report.
