April 20th, 2024 Town Meeting

The residents of the Town of Sherman are hereby warned and notified that a Town Meeting will be held in person at Charter Hall on Saturday, April 20 at 10:30am or as soon as the previous Town Meeting (Annual Budget Meeting) is adjourned to act on the following matters: 
1. To authorize an appropriation of $260,000 from the capital non-recurring fund or American Rescue Plan (ARPA) funds towards the Town’s 80% share of the purchase of a new ambulance for the SVFD
 2. To authorize an appropriation not-to-exceed $10,000 from the capital non-recurring fund to fund the purchase of two Marlin YOUR SPEED signs 
3. To authorize an appropriation not-to-exceed $20,000 from the capital non-recurring fund or ARPA funds for the purchase of 11 automated external defibrillators (AEDS)
