Town of Sherman, CT seeks qualifications and proposals for Construction Manager at Risk for construction of the New Senior Community Center Building & related site work. Proposals will be received in sealed envelopes until 2pm Friday April 18, 2025 at Mallory Town Hall in Sherman, Attention: First Selectman
The Town of Sherman wishes to construct a new one-story building to include, but not be limited to, meeting rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and office, plus an attic for storage. Site work will include but not be limited to parking, drives, walks, septic, well, and grading. Schematic drawings and notes outline the general design objectives and requirements of this building project. It is understood that Value Engineering may be required to meet the Town’s budget.
The CM@R scope of services shall generally follow that described in a standard AIA A133- 2019 agreement, incorporating the provisions of a CM@@R as set forth herein with modifications by the Owner. Town of Sherman shall compile list of bidders from persons who request this link. No bids will be accepted from persons not on the official bid list.
Respondents shall review all RFP documents. Any associated cost incurred in the preparation or submission of this proposal is at the sole expense of the proposer. Where applicable, firms must comply with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Equal Employment Act, and the Connecticut Fair Employment Practices Act. The Town of Sherman reserves the right to negotiate and contract with anyone or no one in the best interests of the owner.
