Zoning Board of Appeals
Mission Statement
The Zoning Board of Appeals is empowered by the General Statutes of the State of Connecticut to hear, consider, and decide upon:
- Applications requesting a variance of zoning regulations due to "exceptional difficulty or unusual hardship"
- Appeals claiming that an error occurred in any order, requirement, or decision of a Zoning Enforcement Officer (ZEO)
- All other matters that the zoning regulations specifically require it to consider, such as special permits, exceptions, and exemptions.

Tuesday through Friday; 9:00am – 12:00pm & 1:00pm – 4:00pm
The ZBA meets on an as needed basis, generally on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at Mallory Town Hall.
