Northwest CT Land Conservancy/Naromi Land Trust

Naromi Land Trust is Now
Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy

On June 30, 2020 Naromi Land Trust and Weantinoge Heritage Land Trust merged and Weantinoge changed its name to Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy (NCLC). This exciting milestone came after years of close partnership.

The name may be new, but our work safeguarding natural lands, public recreation areas, and connecting people to nature has not changed. NCLC is Connecticut’s largest land trust, protecting over 12,500 acres in Litchfield and northern Fairfield Counties and offering 21 public preserves for walking, birding, and reflection.

We are grateful to the people of Sherman for begin champions of conservation.  You have created a legacy of protected land that enriches the quality of life across the region.

We hope you enjoy your visit! Please contact us with questions, suggestions, or to report trail conditions.
