Registration Information

All classes are held at the Sherman School and registration is through the Park and Recreation office. You may register for a class one of these ways;

1. Come in to the Park and Recreation office on Saturday morning from 9:00 - 11:30am.

2. Mail your check and registration form at least two weeks in advance to Park and Recreation at P.O. Box 39, Sherman, Ct 06784.

3. Leave a message a week before the class begins with your name, phone number and the specific class you will be attending. We will need time to retrieve your message before the class begins. Please keep in mind that the department is very small and very part time, with messages only checked on Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings. You may pay at your first class if you have left a message of interest at the Park and Recreation office one week in advance.

This will allow the department to notify the instructor of their class size for planning and materials purposes. In addition, if there is not enough interest in a class, this policy will allow the department to contact and the instructor and postpone or cancel the class. There are, of course, minimum and maximum limits on most classes.

Classes are cancelled if school is closed or dismissed early due to inclement weather. Please check with your instructor for make-up information.

Checks should be made payable to Sherman Park and Recreation. You may mail your registration to P.O. Box 39, if done at least two weeks before class.
